Provides medical and respite supports for eligible BC children with severe disabilities so they can live at home with their families rather than in care.

Who May Qualify
BC children under 19 with severe disabilities who need extraordinary medical care or supports, assessed by a committee.
Required Documents
Medical assessments and an At Home Program application completed with a social worker.
How to Apply
Contact a Ministry of Children and Family Development social worker or a disability social worker to begin the assessment and application.

Confusing this with Alberta's FSCD — At Home is BC-specific. Not knowing that respite hours must be planned in advance.
