BC Bus Pass
A reduced-cost annual transit pass for eligible low-income seniors and persons with disabilities in British Columbia.
The pass costs about $45 per year for eligible seniors and PWD recipients. It can be loaded onto your BC Services Card.
BC residents 60 and over receiving the Guaranteed Income Supplement, persons with disabilities receiving PWD or PPMB assistance, and some low-income seniors without GIS who meet income tests.
Proof of age, income, or disability assistance status, and the application form.
Apply through the BC Bus Pass Program online or at a Service BC centre.
Assuming the pass is free — there is an annual fee. Not applying early, since passes are processed monthly.

DABC is a provincial cross-disability organization that supports British Columbians with disabilities through advocacy, public education, and direct assistance. Its Advocacy Access program provides one-to-one help applying for provincial and federal disability benefits.

Inclusion Canada is the national federation working to advance the full inclusion and human rights of people with an intellectual disability and their families across Canada. Its Barrier-Free Benefits program provides free one-on-one disability benefits navigation support across Canada.

The GAIN Program (Guidance & Assistance in Navigating Disability Support) is a free service offered by Vision Loss Rehabilitation Canada (VLRC). VLRC's Disability Benefit Navigators provide one-to-one support to help people with disabilities understand and apply for the Disability Tax Credit (DTC), the Canada Disability Benefit (CDB), and other federal, provincial and territorial credits and benefits, including help with appeals. Although operated by VLRC, the GAIN Program assists people with all disabilities, not only vision loss.
