Useful Tips for Applying

The monthly payment varies by severity. There is an additional supplement for exceptional care. There is no income test.

Who May Qualify

Quebec families with a child under 18 who has a significant, permanent impairment as defined by the program.

Required Documents

A medical assessment confirming the impairment and an application to Retraite Québec.

How to Apply

Apply to Retraite Québec with the medical assessment form completed by a recognized professional.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Assuming there is an income test (there is not). Not applying for the exceptional care supplement when eligible.
