Useful Tips for Applying

You may be asked to pay a client contribution toward your disability-specific needs based on annual income, but you are exempt if you are eligible for Assured Income or are under 18. Apply by meeting with a staff person who assesses how your disability affects daily life; call toll-free 1-877-569-0546. Vehicle and home modifications require an assessment by a licensed occupational therapist within the program's funding parameters, and respite amounts are set by your capability assessment up to the monthly cap. Download the AccessAbility Supports Handbook and Policies for detail, and ask about all five support areas since you may qualify for more than one.
