The Epilepsy Association of Edmonton and Northern Alberta (EAENA)
The Epilepsy Association of Edmonton and Northern Alberta (EAENA) is a registered charity supporting people living with epilepsy and seizure disorders, and their families, throughout Edmonton and Northern Alberta. The organization provides programs, services, information, education, resources, and support related to living with epilepsy — including epilepsy education (Epilepsy 101), support programs for adults and families, information booklets in English and French, school and community education, and resources on driving, employment, and daily life with a neurological condition. EAENA serves children, youth, adults, and seniors affected by epilepsy across Edmonton and Northern Alberta, including communities north of Red Deer such as Fort McMurray and Wood Buffalo.
Alberta Aids to Daily Living (AADL)
Alberta Aids to Daily Living (AADL) is a Government of Alberta program that helps Albertans with a long-term disability, chronic illness or terminal illness pay for basic medical equipment and supplies so they can live independently at home and in their community. AADL works with Alberta Blue Cross and Alberta Health Services; AADL-approved authorizers assess eligibility and needs, and approved vendors provide the equipment and supplies.
Spinal Cord Injury Alberta
Spinal Cord Injury Alberta (SCI Alberta) is a non-profit organization that empowers Albertans with spinal cord injuries and other physical disabilities to achieve independence and full community participation. Part of Spinal Cord Injury Canada, it has supported Albertans since 1945.
