Alberta Ombudsman
The Alberta Ombudsman is an independent oversight office that investigates complaints about unfair treatment by provincial government programs, including Alberta Supports, Income Support, AISH/ADAP, and matters heard by the Appeals Secretariat (such as FSCD). The Ombudsman is an oversight and complaint avenue, not a disability service provider, and generally requires you to first complete the complaint or appeal process with the agency involved.

Independent Living Nova Scotia — Disability Benefits Navigation (DTC Navigators)
Independent Living Nova Scotia (ILNS) operates a federally funded Disability Benefits Navigation service. ILNS DTC Navigators provide free, bilingual, one-to-one support to help people with disabilities and their families across Atlantic Canada (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador) apply for the Disability Tax Credit and related federal and provincial benefits.
Finautonome
Finautonome is a Quebec-based community organization dedicated to the financial well-being of people with disabilities. It provides disability benefits navigation — helping people with disabilities, caregivers and organizations identify needs and access government financial assistance, programs, measures and services. Services are available in French and English, with particular importance for French-speaking users across Canada.
