Grants for permanent home accessibility modifications (for example ramps, door widening, and bathroom modifications) for eligible homeowners and tenants.

Who is eligible

Canadian citizens or permanent residents who have lived in Alberta for 90 continuous days; an Albertan of any age who uses a wheelchair, or a senior (65+) who uses a 4-wheel walker; or someone living with a progressive neuro-degenerative condition (for example multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, ALS, COPD, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, spina bifida, spinal cord injury, or non-recovering stroke). Must be a homeowner, tenant, or living with family, and within the program's income guidelines. Indigenous applicants on or off reserve are eligible.
