PEI Family Health Drug
The PEI Family Health Benefit Drug Program helps low-income families cover the cost of approved prescription medications. It is for families supporting at least one child, to reduce the financial burden of prescription drugs for eligible households.

File your PEI tax return and consent to income verification so the program can confirm your eligibility. Keep your PEI Health Card valid. Check the Formulary to see which family prescriptions are covered, and ask about special authorization if a needed drug is not listed.

A valid PEI Health Card, your filed PEI tax return with consent to CRA income verification, and proof that you are a low-income family with at least one child under 19 (or under 25 if a full-time student).
